Founded in 2005 as a spin off of the Information Technology activities of the Tiscali Group, the growth of Tiscali Services is the final evolution of IT service experience. The Tiscali group's IT staff, technical assets and experiences have all merged into Tiscali Services, making up one of the most advanced and skilled groups of professionals working in the IT field.

Tiscali has succeeded in overcoming the existing monopolies in the telecommunications field which has allowed it to revolutionize the rules of the market. In October 1999, the company was floated on the Italian Nuovo Mercato (the Italian stock exchange dedicated to

technology titles, similar to NASDAQ), raising the capital needed to finance its goal of becoming a pan-European player. From here Tiscali embarked on an expansion plan through a series of mergers and acquisitions of major existing Internet companies.

A new common infrastructure was required to manage the business and to harmonize the product offerings and processes. Staying far ahead of competitors, Tiscali Services built a BSS platform with a customer-centric end-to-end service view, covering order management, CRM, mediation, billing, collections and revenue assurance. This was used as a unified IT platform to manage Tiscali operations in order to support rapid decision-making processes, consistent market offerings and superior customer service.

The platform strongly supported unprecedented growth in company revenues, service delivery quality, and customer numbers. Today Tiscali, through one of the largest and most interconnected IP networks in the world, is able to supply its customers - both residential and business, with a full range of services: Internet access, both dial-up and ADSL, voice and media services, VoIP, value added services (VAS), IP-TV and other technologically advanced products.

The year 2007 has been a turning point for Tiscali Services having added a vast level of experience to the ISP and Telco market. Our primary focus is to deliver to other ISPs the same valuable and proven expertise that Tiscali Services has developed for implementations within the Tiscali Group. This means outsourcing a global and dynamic array of products and services that are already offered to hundreds of thousands of our current clientele.

In order to further simplify the Tiscali Group structure and to achieve a better operating efficiency, at the end of 2007 Tiscali Services merged with Tiscali Italia SpA. Tiscali Services is the division who currently provides IT services to the Group and to the international market.
